NILES – Sandra Clark, 66, died Friday, February 8, in Lakeland Hospital, Niles.

Sandy was born November 6, 1941, in Buchanan, MI, to William H. and Irene W. (Bessemer) Ritter.

Sandy is survived by her husband, James L. Clark of Niles, Michigan; four daughters, Noelle D. Shaffer of Mesa, Arizona, Erin F. Clark of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Robin E. (Ron) Chlarson of Parker, Colorado, and Sandra M. (Terry) Wenze of Parker, Colorado; four sons; Jonathan J. Clark of Niles, Michigan, Douglas B. (Diana) Clark of Niles, Michigan, Bradley A. (Sandy) Clark of Niles, Michigan, and Jeffrey L. (Jane) Clark of Colleyville, Texas; and by 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are Sandy’s mother, Irene W. (Merle) Walker of Niles, Michigan; her sister, Georgianna (James) Baker of Niles, Michigan; and her brother, Harold B. (Dee Ann) Ritter of Buchanan, Michigan.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, March 7, at 1:00 P.M. in the Michiana Christian Embassy, 1922 East Main Street, Niles, Michigan.

The family has requested that there be no flowers or gifts; however, those wishing to leave condolences for the family may do so at www.brownfuneralhomeniles.com .

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Several years ago Sandy and I were visiting my son Doug and he was working on some new sound equipment so he handed a microphone to Sandy and said, "Sing". Sandy was surprised but she thought of a song and sounded pretty good for a spur of the moment musical effort.
