Sandy's voice was clear and distinct before she had a stroke in 1999. The
bleeding within her brain and resultant loss of tissue robbed her of the ability
to form words or speak clearly. We were at Doug's house one day, sometime prior
to the stroke and Doug was experimenting with some recording equipment. He
handed a microphone to Sandy and said, "Sing". He recorded the singing but we
forgot all about it. One day, about two years after the stroke had taken most of
her speech abilities, Doug called and said, "I just ran across that recording of
Sandy singing". Here are the results. This is the only recording
of Sandy singing that I have.
