Stella Mae Butler Clark's Maternal Ancestors

Frederick Brendel was born February 26, 1813 in Jena, Saxony, Germany, and died October 29, 1882 in Emporia, Lyon County, Kansas. He married Marie Magdalene Gunkel, daughter of Johann Gunkel and Anna Hofmann. Marie was born September 14, 1817 in Ober Ramstadt, Hessen, Germany, and died about 1867 in Lyon County, Kansas. The following information I have gathered from various sources and may not be entirely accurate.
