THE JOURNEY
These are true accounts of events that took place on my journey with the Lord, during the early years of the journey. God was so good to me and so faithful to His word, as He loved me and taught me, while bringing me through some troublesome times. I am very thankful for the love, mercy and grace of God that reached out for me, not because I loved Him, but because He loved me and cared for me even when I showed no interest in Him. Through my own failures and shortcomings, and also by observing the failures of others, I have learned the following scriptural truth,
"Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor
in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in
vain."
Psalm 127:1 NIV
The following are some of my own observations and beliefs: Unless the Lord watches over America, and unless we as a people turn to the Lord, the days of a free American Nation will be quickly shortened. We need instruction and guidance from the Lord, so that we might know and see the way in which we should go. There are forces and powers in the world that would like to destroy America and bring the Nation into bondage. We need the light of God's Word to shine into our heart and soul so that we might see ourselves as we really are. We, as an American people, need to pray that the Spirit of God, using the word of God, will awaken us from a deep spiritual sleep and lead us to repentance and God's forgiveness. We need his word for the journey.
The following articles are true accounts of some events in the early weeks and months of my journey with the Lord. While the beginnings of a journey can be important they are not as important as the ending of the journey. It is not how we start the race or journey that is of utmost importance but how we finish the race or journey is what goes down in the record books.
